FAA Assembly & Test Technician - Level 2

 


LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking FAA Assembly & Test Technician - Level 2 for an opportunity in Clearwater, FL 

 


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • - Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
    - Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary.
    - Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
    - May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
    - Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    - Works under immediate supervision.
    - Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
    - Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
    - Special Considerations: Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    - Working knowledge of computers strongly desired
    - SMT experience is a plus.
    - Experience in Space & Defense manufacturing environment.
    - Individual is expected to have good verbal and written communications skills.
    - Candidate must be able to work in a self directed, teaming & continuous improvement environment.
    - Self-directed teaming skills
    - Good written & verbal communication skills
    - Good Team Player

 

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Due to government regulations, must be a US Citizen
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Eye exam required
  • Associates must have a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience and other electronics related experience in a Space & Defense manufacturing environment.
  • Individual is expected to have good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Position requires an associate who is capable of understanding and executing task as defined by engineering work instructions. Familiarity with computers is required.
  • Candidate must be able to work in a self directed, teaming & continuous improvement environment.
