Circuit Card Assembly Specialist
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Circuit Card Assembly Specialists with aerospace electrical experience for an opportunity at Huntsville, Alabama.
Certifications:
Required: J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721
Recommended: IPC-A-610, MIL-STD-2000
Equipment:
Experience with basic soldering equipment, board pre-heaters, hot air reflow equipment, vacuum pick up devices, “Air-Vac” type semi automated CNC rework (DRS25XLT and Onyx 29)
Advanced and Expert Rework / Repair Technician Requirements Reference IPC 7711/7721, Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies and IPC-J-STD-001
Tasks –
- Perform all requirements of the H2707 Circuit Card Assembly Specialist job description
- All installation tasks per J-STD-001
- Simple rework – solder bridge removal, wick to remove and replace solder, rework insufficient solder, correct convex solder joint deficiencies
- Conformal coat – Identification, coating removal, coating replacement
- Solder resist (solder mask) – Coating replacement
- Component removal, thru hole – Dual in line packages, connectors, axial leaded, radial leaded; continuous vacuum and solder wick methods
- Component removal, SMT – All components (except BGAs, ex. Chip type, leadless, SOIC/SOT, gull wing, etc.) continuous vacuum, tweezers, hot air reflow and solder wick wrap methods
- Ball Grid Array (BGA) removal and replacement
- Plated through hole repair
- Conductor / trace repair
- Base material (CCA laminate)
- Lifted conductor repair
- Lifted pad (land) repair – through hole and SMT
- Jumper wires (J-STD and 7711/7721)
- Bonding, encapsulation, and potting removal, replacement, and repair
- Mass soldering using hot air reflow equipment
