Prodution Support Specialist
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Production Support Specialists for an opportunity in Louisville, KY.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Production Support Specialists will perform various tasks on a warehouse environment, have interaction with customers and other parties, use technology to arrange transportation and provide general support. Candidates will unload multiple trucks per day in a high volume, fast-paced environment, and ensures company standard operating procedures are adhered to for the stores function. Responsible for the storage and distribution of parts and equipment as needed within the Service Center. Ensures physical movement of inventory is in line with system transactions.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 1+ year of stores experience.
- Responsible for the storage and distribution of parts and equipment as needed within the Service Center.
- Ensures physical movement of inventory is in line with system transactions.
- Requires excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Computer literacy - Excel, Word, etc.
- Responsible for the receipt and internal stockroom procedures for all parts necessary for the successful operation of the stores function.
- Experience coordinating and arranging shipping activities.
- Preparing shipping documents (Domestic and International).
- Providing tracing and tracking.
- Arranging/booking transportation.
- SAP and aerospace experience preferred.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
