Operations Research Analyst I

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Operations Research Analysts I for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Must work closely with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians on a daily 24 x 7 operation basis by determining parts requirements, utilizing technical manuals and documents such as IPC, CMM, MM, E.O.'s, ERA's.
  • Using MIRS, originates and coordinates shop orders for in-house repair of removed parts from client, client MRO Customers hangar and line aircraft.
  • Must be able to prioritize & complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have considerable knowledge of most phases of the Maintenance operation, as well as material routing
  • Should have extensive knowledge of the ATA systems, and , SCEPTRE / SAP functionality as it relates to Inventory Management, as well as general knowledge of aircraft and engine systems.
  • Makes inputs and generate daily reports on shortages and other technical problems requiring resolutions.
  • Candidate should be highly motivated, self-directed, proactive, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. 

 

Qualifications:

  • College graduate, A and P license, or equivalent experience in inventory management preferred.
  • Should be able to master complex computer models and business processes.
  • Prefer experience in aircraft record compliance, shop scheduling, warranty procedures, quantitative tracking and inventory control. Knowledge and understanding of inventory/supply chain/warehousing processes and procedures. Ability to analyze and understand technical manuals and documents.
  • Candidate should be highly motivated, self-directed, proactive, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
  • Should be able to interact comfortably with various levels of personnel in Maintenance and Materiel Management.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
