Plating Technician
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Plating Technician for an opportunity in Cleveland, OH.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Candidate will apply finishes to aircraft components and operates metal finishing processes in accordance with company policies and procedures. Individual will be directly responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and preparing parts for Chrome, Nickel, and Cadmium plating. Will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, preparing, and setting-up parts for Strip Chrome, Nital Etch, and Passivation. Will interact closely with the Lab Technician in maintaining the plating tanks.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in plating aircraft parts
- Must be able to read all plating specifications, documents, and drawings, and troubleshoot any process with the plating processes.
- Qualified applicant must have good verbal and written communication skills; must read, write, and speak English
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
