Performs technical/mechanical functions pertaining to the aircraft component overhaul process. 
Must be familiar with all shop equipment operations and its maintenance and able to work with little or no supervision. Performs disassembly and cleaning of aircraft components according to customer’s specifications, airworthiness directives, applicable manufacturers’ CMM guidelines and Goodrich operating procedures. 
Maintains current knowledge of and complies with customer/Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/Joint Aviation Administration (JAA) technical data as applicable to the work assigned. 
Completes necessary related documentation in accordance with established procedures. 
Maintains proper segregation and identification of components in progress. 
Performs final product preparation of units to be shipped
