Accountant I

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Accountant I in Gainesville, TX

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for supporting the preparation of consolidated budgets and forecasts, audit support, trend analysis of revenue recognition, A/R analysis, and ad hoc analysis and financial support as required.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Must have knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles in accordance with GAAP
• Must have very strong proficiency with MS Excel (i.e. V-Look Ups and Pivot Tables) and MS PowerPoint.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and must be a team player
• Must have ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Must understand principles of short and long term budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts.
