Commodity Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Commodity Manager for an opportunity in Gainesville, TX
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Commodity Manager (CM) will create processes for the on-going selection, assessment, and measurement of a global strategic sub-tier supply base along with supplier development to continuously improve product and service performance, ensure good manufacturing practices are utilized, and implement a strategy when suppliers are unable to meet performance requirements
Qualifications and requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or other related field is required
- Six years of hands on experience working in supply chain management; or equivalent combination of related education and experience
CSCP/CPM or other accredited professional certification preferred.
Position may require up to 30% domestic and international travel.
Green Belt Certification preferred
