Aviation Maintenance Planner
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aviation Maintenance Planner in Atlanta, GA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance Planners will coordinate the work packages from the customers work-scope in accordance with proper procedures, methods and operations in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 6+ years of Aviation Maintenance planner experience is required.
- Inventory and review requirements of customer workscope.
- Coordinate work package from receipt to aircraft delivery.
- Physically prepare the work package for issuance.
- Create necessary tallies.
- Schedule work package utilizing available critical path schedules.
- Conduct final package reviews before aircraft arrives on site.
- Plan and identify routine parts requirements and procurement responsibilities.
- Identify special tooling requirements and initiate procurement of tooling.
- Determine method of procurement such as direct purchase, customer, or bid.
- Develop and distribute the provided work package IAW with repair station and customer policies and procedures.
- Open aircraft project Job Numbers.
- Develop with customers and co-workers, the workscope and work packages using Maintenance Planning Documents, FAA Listings, Engineering Documents and customers desires.
- Work with Project Manager to insure that billing is in accordance with current contracts.
- Conduct Pre-dock and Post-dock Meetings, as necessary.
- Request required documents and manuals to include drawings, Service Bulletins, Aircraft Directives, Wiring Diagrams, and all required Maintenance and IPC documents.
- Coordinate any workscope changes with Program Management and Maintenance.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
