LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Warranty & Insurance Coordinator with aviation experience for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

LAUNCH is looking for an aggressive and organized person for the position of a Warranty & Insurance Coordinator.  This coordinator position will analyze costs related to parts repairs.  The best Buyers will be repsonsible for the following activates:

• Warranty Repair:

  • Responsible for filing and collecting warranty monies and/or credit on new aircraft less than 4 years old and new aircraft parts for repair or modifications suggested by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
  • File warranty on acceptable Life Limited Parts. 
  • Review Service Bulletins, Concession Letters and All Operators Message (AOM).
  • Build warranty claims based on OEM participation and support.
  • File claims as needed for part failure when still under warranty.
  • File credit reimbursements for labor hours for complying with Service Bulletins and Service Letters when supported by OEM.

   

  Insurance Claims:

   

  • Investigate damages and timelines.
  • Track and record man-hours expended.
  • Track and record materials used.
  • Track and record materials repaired.
  • Track and record expense report of Mobil Repair Teams.
  • Chronicle work orders, service orders directly involved with the repair.
  • Complete claim package and submit.
  • Create SOPs for Warranty & Insurance.
  • Represent Warranty & Insurance in various meeting forums.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
  • The candidate must be committed to helping create an effective and efficient contracts department.

Qualifications and requirements 

• Required:

  • Database management
  • Negotiation skills
  • Understanding of contract, warranty and insurance language.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely with all levels of the organization.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft's Office Suite programs.
  • Intermediate proficiency with TRAX.
  • Must be well organized.
  • High School Graduate or GED.

  Desired:

  • BA or BS preferred.
  • Aircraft material or general aviation knowledge.
  • Previous experience with warranty and insurance.
  • Experience with TRAX/Aura.
