NDT Level II Technician

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking NDT Level II Technicians with experience inspecting aircraft components in Macon, GA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

NDT Level II Technicians will Inspect wheel and brake components by means of Non-Destructive Testing methods to ensure conformance with acceptance criteria in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Performs NonDestructive Testing inspections using the Eddy Current, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant and Ultrasonic testing methods on items including, but not limited to, airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems using approved or accepted data issued by the manufacturer or FAA.
• Operates all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment.
• Accurately records time worked on aircraft or other projects utilizing Company software and/or other paperwork.
• Interprets technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a positive customer service attitude without compromising quality.
• Presents a clean and neat work area to customers – facility cleanliness and general housekeeping.
• Must have required training hours for Level II certification. ?

• Must have the minimum tools as required.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must have the ability to follow written work instructions and engine manual instructions written in English. 
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
