LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Buyer for an opportunity in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Purchases materials, supplies, and services at the best possible price while maintaining the highest level of quality and ensuring timely delivery. Performs planning and scheduling functions on designated jobs, assists in shipping and receiving as required.
Qualifications and requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of basic APICS.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts. Knowledge of Just in time (JIT).
- Problem solving and decision making skills.
