Aerospace Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Aerospace Engineers for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Aerospace Engineer performs a variety of engineering work in design definition, integration, installation, certification, maintainability and repair of cabin components for the interiors of all of aircraft fleet. Responsibilities include direct coordination with OEM, routine maintenance or modification sites, internal and external customers to support the design and development of passenger cabin interior components, configurations, or maintenance and reliability of existing cabin components in compliance with all applicable CFR’s.
Qualifications and requirements:
- 3+ years experience required.
- Must be familiar with CFR’s and DOT regulations pertaining to aircraft cabin interiors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
- Understanding and experience with major airline processes is preferred.
- Familiarity with interior crash worthiness requirements, flammability, and other certification requirements preferred.
- Prior aircraft structural repair design & analysis experience is preferred.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
