Stress Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Stress Engineers for an opportunity in Bellingham, WA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Stress Engineer performs stress and weight analyses of aircraft primary and secondary structure as well as interior furnishings.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor degree in applicable engineering discipline, or equivalent experience required.
- 1 to 5 years stress analysis experience.
- Experience with finite element modeling (NASTRAN for Windows a plus) and hand calculation methods.
- Experience in writing stress documentation and specifications to FAA standards.
- Promote and support 6s, Kaizen, and other Lean activities.
- Participate and contribute to 6s and Lean activities.
