Maintenance Controller
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Maintenance Controllers with experience monitoring maintenance schedules for commercial aircraft A and C-Checks for an opportunity in Coral Gables, FL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The MMC/LC shall coordinate with the Maintenance Controllers and the Maintenance Representatives on duty in order to assure all maintenance performed on Company aircraft is accomplished safely and correctly and an airworthy condition is maintained. The MMC/LS shall ensure all tasks accomplished through the Maintenance Control Department comply with applicable maintenance manual policies, procedures, and applicable federal and local Government regulations and requirements. Due to administrative requirements, this position is normally held during dayshift business hours; however the hours may be adjusted at the discretion of the Director of Maintenance to provide adequate functionality .
Qualifications and requirements:
- 3+ years of experience performing hands-on maintenance on large aircraft.
- 3+ years of experience supervising five or more personnel in aircraft line maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid FAA A&P License required.
- B-737 Gen Fam preferred.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
