Waterjet Operator

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Waterjet Operator

 for an opportunity in Sumner, WA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for accurately reading blue prints, ensuring correct product dimensions, performing manual material handling, and operating under company safety constraints at all times. The ideal candidate will have prior waterjet experience (including programming), a commitment to outstanding team effort, and a great attendance record.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Must be capable of learning and efficiently performing multiple functions throughout the waterjet department including but not limited to the operation of: waterjet, presses, drills and related equipment set-up, use, and adjustment.
• Must be able to accurately read blue prints and comprehend standard operating procedures.
• Must have above average math skills.
• Must have or immediately obtain a Fork Lift/Pallet Truck operators license (company provided).
• Must possess good communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks.
• Must be accurate, honest, detail orientated, punctual and organized.
• Must be capable of performing multi-tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Commitment to quality, and to safety excellence a must.
• Capable of regular lifting randomly sized items up to 60 pounds.
• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and morale..
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
