LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking FAA Machinist - Level 2 for an opportunity in Phoenix, AZ 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• This role will span lathe, mill, and grinder (OD/ID) work experience. Expertise in all areas is not a requirement, but a strong grasp of one or more is highly preferable. This role will reside within the REMAN 2I worker center. This position will report to the production planning supervisor under the site director for the 2I REMAN work cell.

Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• YOU MUST HAVE
  • High School Diploma
    
    
• Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment. Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units. Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
  Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.

Key Responsibilities:

• For this role we are looking for machinists with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience, however additional years of experience are desired and will be factored in to compensation considerations.
  
  The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of the use of the following calibrated tools, amongst others not listed: Calipers, Veneers.
  
  Material knowledge working with Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum, and Steel is desired, and working knowledge with metal spray is a plus.
  
  A strong grasp of blueprint knowledge, mathematics, and familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desired.
