CRJ Program Manager

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CRJ Program Manager for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Co-develops with General Manager – Engineering and Director – Engineering the formulation and implementation of long and short range planning of the Inspection Program to include new, revised, and/or deleted tasks to the programs.
  • Manages Inspection Programs in support of corporate safety, quality, reliability and financial objectives by representing their area on the program.
  • Responsible for the overall Inspection Program of the fleets to ensure all accepted program tasks are running and audited for the applicable fleets.  This includes the Long and Short Term Storage Programs.
  • Manages the bridging of any aircraft to ExpressJet’s Inspection Program.
  • Co-develops and implements procedures for maintaining high standards to ensure aircraft conform to all FAA regulations and Engineering Policy and Procedures.
  • Manages and controls engineering annual budget for informing other departs of new, revised, and/or deleted tasks that could affect the annual budget.
  • Directs the management and control of all Inspection Program employees.
  • Identify, develop, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost.
  • Directs and monitors Engineering operation to ensure goals of the Maintenance Operations organization annual plan are on target. 

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • BS Degree in Aviation or related Degree in Aviation, related discipline , and/or Airframe & PowerPlant License (A&P)
  • 2+ years of experience in Aviation Management/Inspection Programs with a BS Degree in Aviation or 4+ years of Aviation Management/ Inspection Programs experience with no BS Degree in Aviation. Preferably experience is with an airline.
  • Good knowledge of the CFRs.
  • Great organizational, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.  
  • Travel: This position requires up to 10% travel and includes international travel.
