LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Buyer for an opportunity in Burlington, WA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily purchasing functions either electronically or manually. Tracking daily status of outstanding Purchase Orders, RFQ’s and RFP’s. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Work closely with receiving to ensure timely and correct delivery of materials and parts. Perform research as required to establish correct inventory quantities based on current and future project planning. This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain but works cohesively with all departments within the facility.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related degree preferred
- Two or more years of aerospace purchasing experience required.
- MRP experience desired.
- Two or more years of progressive experience managing suppliers
- Aerospace experience a plus
