Purchasing Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Purchasing Manager for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Purchasing Manager will manage procurement activities for the replenishment of distribution, repair and facility inventory including, purchase order placement, contract administration, and OEM/vendor delivery management personally or through subordinates.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Aviation Management or relevant discipline required
- Knowledge of OEM aviation product lines
- APICS / CPIM / ISM certification highly desired
- Must have the ability to generate written communication and strong oral communication, plus presentation skills. Ability to read and review written communication
- Travel = 1 – 4, 3-day trips per year, with longer duration international travel possible.
- Ability to independently travel both domestically and/or internationally
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
