Pay: $43 P/H DOE

Controls Technician 1Skill Level – Good understanding of how it works and basic understanding of underlying physics and technology. Leverages experience to troubleshoot to the component level.Experience – 5 – 10 yearsEducation – Trade School Certificate in Industrial Maintenance and or Automation or equivalent experience.Responsibilities – First level hands on support for all mechanical issues, majority of electrical and instrumentation issues at the component level (i.e. field devices/hardware). Additionally, the performing service and support for most Controls and Information Systems related hardware and applications. Includes troubleshooting, issue resolution and moderate complexity functional enhancements. Specific skills include service, support and application development/programming for PLC’s HMI/SCADA, Instrumentation, Robotics, Servos, Industrial Networks and network hardware (Ethernet switches, Fieldbus devices, Industrial PC’s). Includes troubleshooting complex IT integrated systems to the application level.Experience or Certifications needed?:• Deep understanding of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)• Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g. performing interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems)This should give you an idea of what managers are seeking:• Customer Service• Flexibility• Self-Starter• Safety Focused:
