Machinist
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Machinist for an opportunity in Jacksonville, FL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The machinist will manufacture components, utilizing Manual Machining Centers. Inspection of components, utilizing standard gages, to ensure “part-to-print” specifications are maintained. (Standard Gaging includes but is not limited to Scales, Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, Height Gages, Optical Comparator, and CMM.)
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have 2 years' experience.
- Basic competency in Machining or Fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Abilities must include reading, writing, and performing basic math computations.
- Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
