Senior Propulsion Engineer

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer for an opportunity in Nagoya, Japan. 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsible Engineer will work the activities of the Propulsion System Nacelle/ EBU. This will include interfacing with all other aircraft functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the aircraft Propulsion System Nacelle/ EBU development and Certification. Work as team in a multi-cultural and international working environments in Japan Japanese Language skill is not required.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technical Aviation with 5 years of aviation related experience, or
  • 5+ years in an aviation engineering organization Aerospace or Aircraft Systems Engineering
  • Have about 5+years of designing or qualification experience
  • Have created or helped in the creation of relevant documents for equipment qualification and 14 CFR Part 25 or EASA CS-25 certification
  • Have reviewed documents for equipment qualification and 14 CFR Part 25 or EASA CS-25 certification
  • Have experience in managing and negotiating with suppliers
  • Experience related to Nacelle/ EBU design

  • Understand the applicability and usage of qualification specifications
  • Understand 14 CFR Part 25, EASA CS-25 and JCAB certification process
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to utilize interpersonal and communication techniques, working in a team environment, dealing with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles
  • Ability to identify potential issues with development, manufacturing processes or parts
  • Needs the ability to develop, plan and implement short and long term goal
  • Ability to adapt to change
