Senior Electric Engineer

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Senior Electric Engineer for an opportunity in Nagoya, Japan. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsible Engineer will work the activities of the Electrical System/ Lights system. This will include interfacing with all other aircraft functions and engineering teams to coordinate and obtain the approval of any task assigned contributing to the aircraft Electrical System/ Lights system development and Certification. Work as team in a multi-cultural and an international working environments in Japan. Japanese Language skill is not required.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technical Aviation with 5 years. aviation related experience, or
• 5+ years in an aviation engineering organization Aerospace or Aircraft Systems Engineering.
• Must have experience of designing Lighting (Exterior Light, interior Light and Flight Deck light), or 15+ years of experience of assessment on System Safety of EPS(Electrical Power System)
• Have +15 years of designing experience or ability to serve as a manager of both ATA 24 and 33
• Experience in ATA24(Electrical power) or experience in ATA33(Lights)
• Have created relevant documents, reviewed documents.
• Have worked at or worked very closely with UTAS (This requirement is critical in order to understand decision making process at UTAS and negotiate delivery schedule with UTAS.), or Have management/negotiation experience of suppliers (UTAS, etc)
