Stock Room Lead
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Stock Room Lead for a second shift opportunity in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Stockroom Lead ensures customer delight in a cross-functional support role within the Stockroom department using Extensive, higher-level function. This role is expected to pull Manufacturing Orders, some Customer Order and provide material for assembly while maintaining accurate inventory.

- Pull and Pick Manufacturing Orders per production schedule
- Pull and Pick Customer Orders as needed by shipping department
- Utilize Counting Scales for accurate transactions of material and elevate errors if found
- Adjust material quantities to assure accurate inventory utilizing Inventory Variance Methods
- Research Missing Parts to determine root cause and provide continuous improvement ideas to eliminate MIA transactions through extensive backtracking.
- Satisfy training requirements for various positions in the stockroom process
- Manage the material request dashboard process to maintain material requirement levels between plants
- Support Assembly by supplying Kanban material while developing a level of assembly process knowledge
- Manage tube backflush levels
- Supervise the replenishment of Indirect materials such as O-Rings and Backup Rings
- Manage inventory levels for stockroom supplies
- Coordinate workload for staff, shifting personnel as needs arise
- Elevate issues and provide continuous improvement ideas
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials while providing continuous improvement data
- Fulfill Engineering requests
- Manage Stockroom material assuring that material is properly located and labeled
- Assist with the movement of parts from receiving and secondary process lines
- Identify Opportunities for continuous improvement and create actions to achieve results
- Process scrap transactions from reject logs provided by assembly
- Perform 7s Maintenance updates in Qpulse as assigned
- Develop, implement and maintain processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Maintain and adhere to safety levels consistent with HydraForce and Government policies
- Address any discrepancies with Accounting and Purchasing
- Ability to read parts drawings
- Utilize knowledge of parts to identify bad or mixed parts and piece part delivery accuracy
Pay: $20/HR + $2 shift differential + OT opportunities
Qualifications and requirements:
- HS diploma or Equivalent required
- Associates or Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge of RF Scanners and/or Fourth Shift required
- Manage workflow between departments and other team members
- Ability to read part drawings is preferred
- Intermediate-Extensive computer skills
- Basic Math Skills
- Ability to count parts using a counting scale
- TWI Trainer Required
- Ability to operate material handling machinery such as electric pallet jacks, aerial lifts, and Stackers.
- Forklift certification preferred
