CMS Full Stack Developer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a CMS Full Stack Developer for an opportunity in Montreal, Quebec.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervised by the development manager, the job incumbent will develop many different back-end and front-end components and modules included in the AirTime CMS. Some of those modules are standalone applications with graphical interfaces. The developer will work in an open-minded team that collaborates regularly and interacts with development teams, system admin teams, graphic artists, quality assurance department, product and project managers.
More specifically, the person will be required to:
- Analyze project specifications and provide suggestions relevant to the project.
- Create new module and applications used by the CMS.
- Work on existing modules/components and applications for maintenance.
- Solve problems – alone or in a team – due to technical limitations for certain platforms.
- Estimate deadlines.
- Carry out preliminary tests.
- Carry out necessary adjustments following recommendations from quality assurance.
- Update documentation throughout development.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum of college or university degree in computer science;
- Minimum of 5 years in objet-oriented programming;
- Experience in web development (JavaScript, Jquery, HTML, CSS, PHP, Ajax) and Python an important asset to have
- Experience in Windows and Linux development
- Experience in other development languages (Java) is an asset.
- Bilingual (French/English) spoken and written for Montreal office.
