LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Production Supervisor for an opportunity in Bellingham, WA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Production Supervisor provides overall support and direction, including managing team to produce components of high quality, within budget, in a safe manner, on schedule.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum two years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, lead position required
- Manage headcount requirements – within process areas
- Provide daily communication on status
- Supervision responsibilities including a variety of personnel issues (selection, corrective action, training, and motivation)
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor for safe work practices
- Ensure parts are built to proper specification
- Provide problem solving within the team
- Provide communication of status both within the team and across the business unit
- Perform reviews, Bi-yearly reviews
- Attend specific DBT’s as assigned
- Provide goals and measurements, for assigned areas
- Provide leadership and direction for Leads
- Actively promote and engage in 6S/Lean activities
- Perform other duites as assigned
