LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Systems Engineer for an opportunity in Marietta, GA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position is for experienced engineers on a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) team, providing support across the entire product line including both new and existing programs. The candidates will be part of a fast paced, dynamic MBSE environment exploring state of the art technical solutions. In this environment, the candidates will need to be agile dedicated learners to enable rapid transition to the latest toolsets and adoption of digital/model-based execution.
  
  The successful candidates will have extensive experience across the spectrum of systems engineering activities. But we also have needs for specialized systems designers with expertise/experience in Mission System (MS) and Vehicle Systems (VS) disciplines. To support basic development and definition of system design products/objectives; all successful candidates can anticipate performing tasks such as risk assessments, leading trade studies, writing SOWs (statement of work) and supplier specifications, performing technical planning, performing requirements verification and involvement in systems architecture development. Therefore, broad knowledge and expertise in systems engineering is needed to support systems design needs. Additionally, the candidates need to be experienced in providing support in systems/subsystem integration and test while working closely with program management to assure complete program integrity.
  
  Further, it is desired that the candidates will have experience that will enable functioning as technical leader and mentor/teacher to other engineers. As a technical leader, the selected candidate will need to be prepared to run portions of a larger effort with the ability to think creatively and execute independent of regular over-sight. A practical understanding of Earned Value Measurement Systems (EVMS) will be a significant plus to the candidate.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Basic Qualifications :
  Bachelor or Above Technical Degree in a Technical Discipline
  Must have a minimum final secret within last six years with ability to or in the process of obtaining a Top Secret SAR/SAP clearance
  Experience in Mission Systems (MS) system design and development
  Experience leading systems engineering activities
  Experience with requirements generation and decomposition
  Experience using software tools (such as MS Excel and Access)
  Experience with tracking requirements using the DOORS, CAMEO or similar database tool
  Experience with systems engineering process
  
  Desired skills :
  Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
  Experience executing in a digital engineering environment (i.e., MBSE and digital twin)
  Experience developing a system architecture
  Good written and verbal communication with experience in writing requirements
  Work experience with operational modeling tools
  Previous integration and test experience
• Manager is looking for 6 level 3 (8-12 years of experience) and 2 level 4 (16+ years of experience). Offered pay rate will be dependent on experience. Please note- level 3 pay rate expectation should be around $70
  
  
  Must have Cameo (preferred) or Rhapsody experience
  
  Potential for direct hire for right candidate(s) after contract period is met
