General Manager

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a General Manager in Indianapolis, IN

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The General Manager will be responsible for Managing organization operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.  Follows direction set by President. Implements programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit. Provides direction and structure for operating units.  May participate in developing policy and strategic plans.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering discipline or equivalent
• Ten (10) years of experience in aviation, MRO/Repair Station experience preferred
• Knowledge of MRO / Repair Stations
• Knowledge of JIT.
• Knowledge of project management techniques.
• Knowledge of estimating methods.
• Ability to implement time and cost saving policies.
• Ability to manage business crisis.
• Ability to work under a great deal of uncertainty or unpredictability.
• Ability to create new principles
• Ability to travel.
