Design Engineer
LAUNCH Professional Services is seeking a Design Engineer for an opportunity in Huntington Beach, CA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Design Engineer will create and help implement effective seating design solutions, from inception to completion, with consideration to schedule, budget, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline. A combination of related experience and education may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to design mechanical components and complex mechanism.
- Experienced in designing mechanical components and complex mechanisms.
- Availability for candidates with 1-5 years of engineering experience
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in understanding a variety of manufacturing processes including composites forming, CNC machining, stampings, sheet metal forming, and thermoforming.
- Understanding of material properties including metals, general plastics, and composites.
- Able to design complex integrated kinematic assemblies.
- Knowledge of related software including CATIA, AutoCAD,and PLM
