Program Manager- IFE Software
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an IFE Program Manager in Atlanta, GA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Principal Software Engineer partners with the Software Director/CTO in the direction and management of the planning, design, engineering, and development of complex computer-based systems. This individual develops systems requirements and specifications. This individual plans and coordinates the integration, installation, operation, and application of software systems; performs functional tests to establish working parameters for hardware and software compatibility. The Principal Software Engineer analyzes new technologies and process to enhance the design and development of software systems; and acts as a liaison between engineering personnel inside and outside the organization.
Qualifications and requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Minimum of 15 years working in a complex system/software engineering capacity
Must have strong experience with aircraft IFE software development
Strong background with GUI development
Strong experience with the Scrum Methodology and basic Project Management techniques
Demonstrated expertise in all phases of system and software design and development
Position requires a comprehensive knowledge of software engineering techniques
