Production Supervisor

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking former Military Mechanics with Supervisor experience on for an opportunity in Las Vegas, NV.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Production Supervisor will direct the overall maintenance effort to ensure safe, reliable aircraft in the quantities necessary to execute contract requirements.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Mechanical experience on Military aircraft required.
  • Associates Degree in aviation technology highly desired. High School Diploma a minimum.
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Minimum 10 years hands on aircraft maintenance experience with at least 3 years supervisory experience and 3 years aircraft production experience.
  • FAA issued A&P license
  • Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance
  • recovery team as required.

  • Professional appearance and conduct with customers, vendors and other employees

  • Must have an in depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle

    movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read,interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical orders).

  • Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer

    software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.

  • Obtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI/ER certification.

  • Obtain/maintain security clearance.

  • Current valid U.S. Driver’s License.

  • Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing,

    standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands
  • Isolate/repair electrical and environmental system malfunctions to include wiring repair
  • Must be willing to travel 25% of the time
