QA Inspector

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Inspectors with manufacturing inspection experience in Everett, WA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The position of QC Inspector is one of great importance to the success of company programs. He or she is depended upon by all departments for coordinating QC Inspection activities related to a project and ensuring the products and services provided by the company are compliant to all customer specifications, AS9100, internal company policies and procedures, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Position records the results of their inspections and prepare test reports. Reports defects and helps to analyze and correct the discrepancies. Position monitors the QC equipment, review output, and do random product inspections.
The position of this position requires a high degree of consistent dedication, flexibility, accuracy, sound judgment, and reliability. He or she plays a key role in representing the company’s Quality organization through direct interactions with customers and suppliers and ensuring products meet standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications and requirements:

• 5 years of inspection experience is preferred.
• Must have the AS9100 experience 
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Drivers license is required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
•  Effectively communicates information and project data to team members, management, and customers and suppliers.
• Possesses good analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
• At least an Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Current or previous QC Inspector certification preferred.
• Current “Certified Weld Inspector” certification preferred or equivalent aluminum/steel welding experience required.
• Previous experience using precision measurement equipment (Coordinate Measuring Machine, Laser Tracker, micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.) required.
• Knowledge and experience in aerospace tooling, welding, machining, etc. preferred.
