Design Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Design Engineer for an opportunity in Gainesville, TX
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Design coordination of seats and seat components. Coordinates between various customers and vendors. Interfaces with Program Manager on project development and design progress. Reviews customer requirements and specification and relates them to product design. Monitors day-to-day design progress as required. Assures conformity of product and that engineering deadlines are met.
Qualifications and requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in mecahnical or aerospace or aeronautical engineering required
- Requires advanced knowledge of aircraft seat products.
- Must be an expert in drafting using CATIA V5 and/or Pro/E
- Must have good knowledge of materials and production processes, and mechanical knowledge of parts and stress conditions.
- A minimum of 5 years of structural and composite design experience required
- Must be able to provide complicated lay-outs and program design studies.
- Leadership experience preferred
