LAUNCH is seeking an Aircraft Cabin Designer in Dallas/FT. Worth, TX
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assumes a supporting role in the design and development of aircraft interiors and other projects helps to prepare Project documentation in the form of drawings, layouts and illustrations, and assists in the management of vendors for projects and presentations
Essential functions and requirements
- College Graduate with a degree in design or related field. New graduate to two years’ design experience.
- Ability to Create conceptual designs using hand-sketches, imaging programs, touch-screen tablets and computer-aided design (CAD) programs
- Create mockups of design concepts using foam core board, adhesive, etc.
- Assist in creation of design documentation using CAD and imaging programs.
- Assist in selecting decorative materials and amenities for design presentations
- Assist in coordination of design and production samples for development and presentations
- Support Design Management and Project Designers as required in all design functions.
- Establish and maintain professional business relationships with customer representatives and vendors.
- Establish and maintaining good communication and coordination relationships with Company personnel and management.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
