Diesel Mechanic
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Diesel Mechanics with experience on medium to heavy-duty vehicles for an opportunity in Los Angeles, CA.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Diesel Mechanics will perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and unscheduled repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, tire repairs, warranty procedures and repairs on Ford 700/800 trucks, International trucks and support vans and pickups.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have 3+ years of repair experience on medium to heavy-duty vehicles
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a set of hand tools including toolbox and multi-function electrical meter
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and driving record check
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
