Manager - Manufacturing Engineering
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Manager - Manufacturing Engineering for an opportunity in Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages overall operations manufacturing engineering department to ensure employee safety, product quality, customer requirements, manpower allocation, materials / cost, and operational budget are met. Develops, motivates and teaches both members of the department and Operations Staff the art of continuous process improvement. Maintains a professional working relationship with all departments within Weber Aircraft and its customers.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, operations, methods, procedures and all related FAA requirements.
- Must have strong background in manufacturing and industrial engineering.
- Must have strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Must be proficient in computer inventory management, production / cost data management, and manufacturing resource planning (MRP).
- Must have effective interpersonal skills, good command of written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have lean manufacturing background and be a lean thinker.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must have a B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field
- 15 years experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- 5 years experience in supervision/management required.
