Project Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer for an opportunity in Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible to achieve the cost budget of engineering on his project, schedule, scope of work, product definition, and weight and cost product target related to engineering for projects they oversee.
To lead and coordinate projects within the definitions of the airframe manufacturer and airline specifications, regulatory requirements, ZSC requirements.
Ensure the back-up of a colleague of his department including the Engineering Manager.
Qualifications and requirements:
- B.S degree or an Associate degree with 6 years related experience or 6 years of job related experience.
- Basic design skills
- Proven problem solving skills and Proficient with MS Office
- Able to multi-task and manage numerous projects
- Must possess good planning and prioritizing IPT tasks and skills
- Earned Value Management,Lean Principles ,Budget Management,Risk Management,Scope Management
- Cognizant of the current standards of the aircraft industry and warrant specifications including FAA and CAA/JAA rules applicable to the product.
- Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
- Ability to read and review written communication.
- Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
- Must be able to speak publicly and give presentations.
