Program Manager

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Program Manager for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Assist with Entry Into Service (EIS) process for new fleet types • Assist with all phases of project management of the EIS process by supporting primary Project Managers in Fleet Management and coordinating with key contacts throughout the company. Maintain the overall EIS Project Plan for the enterprise by ensuring that all critical tasks are identified, supported, and tracked through completion (or appropriately flagged in cases where tasks fall behind schedule). Devise and manage effective reporting tools to aid working groups and keep senior management up to date on project status. Create and distribute agendas and minutes for key meetings while also tracking and working to resolve identified action items. Assist Project Managers in the day-to-day interaction with various divisions, working groups, and aircraft manufacturers and vendors Ad-hoc Analyses and Projects. As EIS schedule allows, support Fleet Management in a variety of ad-hoc analyses and fleet related projects. Perform research, create analyses, and assist management in development of business cases to support varying types of fleet initiatives and decisions

 

  • A bachelor's degree along with direct experience managing or supporting large scale projects is required  
  • Understanding of project management systems, tools, techniques and best practices required, and relevant certifications desirable
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders across all levels
  • Solid organizational skills with ability to understand overall objectives while providing high attention to detail
  • Experience producing clear and compelling reporting using PowerPoint and other communication tools
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and focus efforts on achieving departmental objectives, with limited direct supervision
  • Airline experience and knowledge of aircraft/aviation related industries beneficial, but not required
