Site Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking former Military Supervisors with active security clearnace for an opportunity in Las Vegas, NV.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Site Manager will direct the overall maintenance effort to ensure safe, reliable aircraft in the quantities necessary to execute contract requirements.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Mechanical experience on Military fighter jets required.
- Must have an active security clearance
- Associates Degree in aviation technology highly desired. High School Diploma a minimum.
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Minimum 10 years hands on aircraft maintenance experience with at least 3 years supervisory experience and 3 years aircraft production experience.
- FAA issued A&P license
- Must be able to work day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as part of a maintenance
recovery team as required.
Professional appearance and conduct with customers, vendors and other employees
Must have an in depth working knowledge of aircraft safety directives, aircraft/vehicle
movement, flight line operations, aircraft technical orders/job guides/publications (read,interpret, follow and comprehend schematics, diagrams, drawings and technical orders).
Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer
software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.
Obtain/maintain aircraft/equipment Red X/IPI/ER certification.
Obtain/maintain security clearance.
Current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Environment ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing,
standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands- Isolate/repair electrical and environmental system malfunctions to include wiring repair
- Must be willing to travel 25% of the time
