Design Engineer

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Design Engineer for an opportunity in Marietta, GA

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mechanisms Design Engineer:
  Design of Mechanical/Mechanisms detail parts, assemblies and installations, as well as, systems installations. Engineer shall be responsible for: (1) development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities of assigned subordinate engineers, (2) preparation of work statements, quotes and EDAs to support customer requirements, product improvements and cost reductions, and (3) support of manufacturing operations and customers in resolving technical problems related to the aircraft structure and systems. Candidate must be able to coordinate efforts with little or no supervision across a wide range of functional organizations, such as Planning, Tooling, Stress, M&P, R&M, Materiel, Flight Sciences, Test, Manufacturing, and other Design IPTs to ensure that designs meet customer and derived requirements. Some travel and overtime may be required. Candidate must have aerospace, and specifically Mechanisms design experience with knowledge of configuration management techniques, drafting/drawing conventions, and aerospace specifications and procedures.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Manager is looking for both Level 3 and level 4 resources, pay rate should be equivalent to experience
• Special Access is required for work on a Classified Program in Marietta Georgia.

  Catia V5 or 3DX
  Mechanisms Design
