Engineering Manager
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager for an opportunity in Tulsa, OK.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, directs and coordinates activities of an engineering department to design, integrate, analyze, manufacture, test and certify aircraft components, products, and systems; develops and maintains cost effective production methods, tooling, standards and procedures for company products and processes; supports or initiates continuous process improvement programs and reporting. Develops and provides leadership to institutionalize the processes of Continuous Quality Improvement in accordance with organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or other appropriate engineering discipline is required, and ten (10) to fifteen (15) more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) years in a leadership position must be included in the experience requirement.A Master's level degree (MA or MS) in engineering or business is preferred.
- Managed from five (5) to twenty (20) salaried professional Stakeholders.
- Experience leading engineering team(s) required
- Experience leading aerospace test programs
- Must be a strong communicator
- CATIA V5 experience preferred
