Strategic Planning Analyst

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The Strategic Planning Analysts III in Hangar Demand Planning works with demand planners in the successful execution of all applicable airframe maintenance requirements in addition, to the successful coordination and implementation of approved Engineering reliability projects. The role requires heavy project management collaboration among Maintenance, Engineering, Forecast and Analysis, Material Planning, Tooling, and Maintenance Programs to ensure that aircraft are being maintained as effectively and efficiently as possible. This position is responsible for the management and leveraging of key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement across the team. This position is also responsible for working with end users and IT to enhance planning applications for increased compliance, quality and productivity. The role anticipates road blocks before they happen and makes adjustments to achieve success in a live operational environment. This is truly a project manager role.

 

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 8+ years of aviation maintenance planning and/or management experience. 
  • Ability to analyze incomplete information, make timely decisions, develop innovative solutions, and mitigate risks to both safety and the operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and/or familiarity with EASA regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of engineering, maintenance, and planning.
  • Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Access) and AutoCAD (or similar CAD software).
  • Candidate must be available for Technical Operations on-site job training and business familiarization required during the initial period of employment
  • Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
