Document Control Specialist

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a Document Control Specialist for a position in Englewood, CO

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Issue drawings and documents as required either in hard copy format or e-copy with a water mark. Ensure all items are current before being issue. Assign serial numbers and drawings numbers as required. Insure the serial numbers are assigned in the right log. Release all new drawing as required in the system EDPM. And insure to scan the new drawing and place in the release data side section. Then file the drawing in the flat files. Also in the hard copy is stamped original on the back lower left corner. Same steps above for all documents except the RFMS and ICA. A copy of these items will have to be uploaded on the STC web site.  You will need access to share point for this also.

Experience and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent. 
• 3 years of relevant experience including 1 year utilizing Solidworks EDPM and document management system software. 
• Prior work with ERP systems 
• Familiarity with Change Management and Change Control principles. 
• Managing documentation review and approval cycles, electronic workflows, and initiating electronic notifications. 
• Good written and oral communication skills including technical writing. 
• Good customer service skills, working with operations, engineering, supply chain, and quality personal. 
• Highly organized with strong follow-up skills to track documentation cycle times and minimize stagnant documents in the change queue. 
• Excellent team player with a strong work ethic. 
• Adhering to policies, standards and SOPs and output has very high accuracy. 
• Intermediate-Advanced Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
