Mechanical Design Engineer
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Mechancial DesignEngineer in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be supporting for modular pod detailed design, development, and qualfiication effort evolving the concept development from the current IRAD program to development and qualfiication of modular pod for use on both production GMLRS Unitary and GMLRS AW rocket systems.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must have Bechelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or 10 years of equivalent experience.
- 6 Years of CAD (Computer Aided Design) software experience using PRO Engineer / CREO 3.
- Must be capable of creating and interpreting detail, assembly and installation type drawings, knowledge of Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Experience with manufacturing engineering and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
