Shipping Clerk

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Shipping Clerk for an opportunity in College Park, GA.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Shipping Clerk controls and tracks materials from initial receipt through storage to issuance; performs the warehousing, stocking, storing, pulling, packing, shipping, receiving, and handling of aviation materials, as well as coordinates the delivery of spare parts, equipment. Additionally, the Shipper also inspects outgoing aircraft parts and materials against customer-requested documentation.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Certifications, Knowledge and Skills - Technical aptitude, knowledge of computers, and data entry.
• Competencies - Technical capacity, organizational skills, decision making, and initiative
• Education and/or Experience - Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Communication Skills - Good oral and written communication skills essential for interaction with both internal and external customers.
• Physical Demands - Must be able to stand and/or sit for up to eight hours, set, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
