VP of Component Repair and Manufacturing
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a VP of Component Repair and Manufacturing for an opportunity in Wheeling, IL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure Repair and Manufacturing activity and measured results are meeting or exceeding both operational and financial plans.
- Understand and keep current on repair, manufacturing, sales, and trading capabilities of the Stations.
- Station forecasting and budgeting. Formulate the initial forecasts and budgets with defendable projections.
- Regular meetings with sales and marketing staff with regard to repair and manufacturing sales.
- Measure and track results; identify and solve issues preventing and foster ideas to exceed operational and financial objectives.
- Create business plans for any Cap-Ex projects contemplated and present to the decision group.
- Bachelor Degree in Management or equivalent and a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience in aerospace management.
- Strong experience in the repair/manufacturing of aerospace components.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively using electronic media and in written and verbal forms.
- Experience in managing gross margin and revenue goals.
- Must travel at least 1 week per month.
- Sound working knowledge of computer systems and applications and competent in the use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Make telephone and direct personal contact with internal and external personnel and make formal presentations to small or large groups.
