RF Technician

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking RF Technicians with test experience in Aerospace, Military, and /or Communications Satellite hardware production for an opportunity in Littleton, CO.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of RF electrical components and architectures including amplifiers, receivers, transmitters, mixers, filters, diplexers, directional couplers, power splitters, attenuators, oscillators, PLLs, & RF switches.
• Knowledge of RF instrumentation and measurements including Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, VNAs, Power Meters, Noise Sources, Noise Figure, IMD, and phase noise.
• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
• Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.
• Performs process tests and tuning of RF circuits using Indium and Gold.
• Implements test set-ups, performs tests, collects results, maintains appropriate logs, and provides oral and/or written reports of results.
• Constructs, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment. Ensure correct functionality of units under test, test equipment and identifies any discrepancies.

Qualifications and requirements:

• 5-8 years test experience in Aerospace, Military, and /or Communications Satellite hardware production.
• Must have the minimum tools as required.
• Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
• Must be willing to work any shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
