Aircraft Technician Trainee

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an Aircraft Technician Trainee for an opportunity in Appleton, WI.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Aircraft Technician Trainee works under direct supervision of the Mechanical Team Lead or Senior Tech, assist with the inspection, maintenance and repair of customer aircraft. In this position, the employee will gain knowledge of and familiarity with Corporate aircraft, with internal procedures for work completion and quality control, and with the ways in which multiple shops must work together to meet production goals.

Qualifications and requirements:

• High school diploma/GED
• Prior experience with civil or military aircraft avionics systems and/or installation
• Able to climb ladders and stairs 
• Able to work in small restricted areas
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds 
• Must be computer literate
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
