Production Scheduler

 

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Production Planners with experience in setting schedules for production crew, and assist with material orders in Everett, WA.

 

Jobs and Responsibilites

The Production Scheduler is a very important and highly responsible position within the company and demands a high degree of dedication, flexibility, sound judgment, and reliability. The performance of and the decisions made by this position greatly affect the performance of those assigned to a program, the success of a program, as well as the profitability of the company, including our relationships with our customers. It is one of the most pivotal positions within this company.

 

Duties of the Job

  • Identify and respond to input spikes or ongoing demand increases/decreases.
  • Support QA and OPS with weekly/monthly KPI.
  • Plans and schedules all manufacturing processes within Operations
  • Supports Inventory Control
  • Ensures correct planning parameters are utilized in order execution system to ensure proper work order generation
  • Manages schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary actions to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases.
  • Reviews and adjusts material plan regularly to reflect changes in system parameters and departmental objectives.
  • Communicates with purchasing department on material requirements.

 

Job Requirements

  • Must have prior production scheduling or planning experience.
  • Possess good analytical and deductive reasoning skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized, thorough, and possess keenness to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in development of monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Utilization of information to develop acceptance of change and working to influence other regions to adopt new practices.
  • Ability to assimilate and priorty complex information and provide analysis to support schedule changes.
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
  • Must be willing to work any shift.
  • Must be willing to work overtime (as requested).
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
